Note depth and orientation of
old bushing before removal. |

Raise and support vehicle. |
2. |
Remove lower control arm. |
3. |
Wrap control arm with a shop towel
and place it in a vise. |
4. |
Remove control arm bushing from lower
control arm, using front control arm bushing set tool No. J-41211,
or equivalent, Fig. 1. |
5. |
Disassemble tools and remove bushing. |
6. |
Reverse procedure to install, noting
following: |

a. |
Place NEW bushing to tapered side of
control arm. |
|
b. |
Install control arm bushing in lower
control arm, using front control arm bushing set tool No. J-41211,
or equivalent. |
|
c. |
Install bushing to same depth and orientation
as noted during removal. |
