Chevrolet Cobalt Service & Repair Manual: Camber Adjust

1. Loosen both strut to knuckle nuts just enough to allow for movement.
2. Adjust the camber to specification by moving the top of the wheel in or out.
3. Remove the strut assembly from the vehicle.
4. Install the strut assembly in a soft jawed vise.
5. Using the appropriate tool, enlarge the inner hole (1) to match the outer hole (2), Fig. 1.
6. Install the strut assembly.
7. Adjust the camber to specification by moving the top of the wheel in or out, Fig. 2.
8. Note the following:
  a. Torque strut upper mounting nuts to 15 ft. lbs.
  b. Torque strut lower nuts to 89 ft. lbs.
  c. Torque stabilizer shaft link nut to 48 ft. lbs.
