Battery Ground Cable
Prior to service, disconnect battery
ground cable and isolate as required. |
Radio Coded Theft Protection System
The "Theftlock" theft deterrent
system is a feature on all base and uplevel radios. There is no need to
program a security code into the radio as in past model years. The theft
deterrent system now utilizes class 2 serial data to determine if the radio
is in the appropriate vehicle. |
Product Compatibility
R-134a is the only approved refrigerant
for use in this vehicle. The use of any other refrigerant may result in
poor system performance or component failure. |
To avoid system damage use only
R-134a dedicated tools when servicing the A/C system. |
Use only Polyalkylene Glycol Synthetic
Refrigerant Oil (PAG) for internal circulation through the R-134a A/C system
and only 525 viscosity mineral oil on fitting threads and O-rings. If lubricants
other than those specified are used, compressor failure and/or fitting seizure
may result. |
Add the recommended refrigerant
oil in the amount listed if you replace any of the parts listed. To avoid
