Chevrolet Cobalt Owners Manual / Instrument Panel / Passenger Compartment Air Filter

The filter removes dust and pollen from the air which is drawn into the vehicle. Airflow reduction is an indication that the filter needs to be replaced.

The filter should be replaced as part of routine scheduled maintenance. See Scheduled Maintenance for replacement intervals. To find

To access the passenger compartment air filter:

1. Open and empty the glove box.

Install the new air filter with the AIR FLOW arrow pointing downward. Reverse Steps 1 through 3 to reassemble.
