Remove strut assembly upper mounting
nuts. |
2. |
Raise and support vehicle, then remove
tire and wheel assembly. |
3. |
Remove stabilizer shaft link to strut
assembly retaining nut, then separate shaft link from strut. |
4. |
Remove lower strut to steering knuckle
attaching nuts and bolts. |
5. |
Remove strut from vehicle. |
6. |
Reverse procedure to install, noting
the following: |

a. |
Torque wheel lug nuts to 100
ft. lbs. |
|
b. |
Torque stabilizer link to strut
to 48 ft. lbs. |
|
c. |
Torque strut to body nut to
15 ft. lbs. |
|
d. |
Torque strut to steering knuckle
to 89 ft. lbs. |
|
e. |
Torque strut shaft nut to 52
ft. lbs. |

Raise and support vehicle using suitable
lift.

Remove tire and wheel assemblies.
