Chevrolet Cobalt Service & Repair Manual: Windshield Washer Fluid Pump, Replace

1. Drain washer solvent from windshield washer fluid reservoir into suitable clean container.
2. Remove front fender liner as outlined in "Front Fender Liner."
3. Disconnect windshield washer pump electrical connector, Fig. 1.
4. Disconnect washer pump hose, Fig. 1.
5. Remove washer pump from washer solvent container using a suitable small flat bladed tool, Fig. 1.
6. Remove seal from washer solvent container using a suitable small flat bladed tool, Fig. 1.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Press seal and pump in place until fully seated.
