Removal

Replace only one hinge at a time. Striker alignment is a crucial component of door latch operation. Do not use door striker to adjust door to vehicle. Failure to properly adjust striker can result in damage to door latch and striker.
1. Remove hinge to hinge pillar bolts (1) or (4), Fig. 1.
2. Remove hinge to door frame bolts (2) or (5).
3. Remove hinge (3) or (6).

Installation

Replace only one hinge at a time. Striker alignment is a crucial component of door latch operation. Do not use door striker to adjust door to vehicle. Failure to properly adjust striker can result in damage to door latch and striker.
1. Install hinge (3) or (6), Fig. 1.
2. Install hinge to hinge pillar bolts (1) or (4). Torque to 26 ft. lbs.
3. Install hinge to door frame bolts (2) or (5). Torque to 18 ft. lbs.
4. Inspect door for proper alignment, adjust as required.
